YKK provides zippers for clothing and aluminum window frames for shelter, and in 1987 it opened an Italian restaurant in Akihabara to take on the challenge of food for the first time. The restaurant moved to Sumida, Tokyo and changed its name to Al Settimo Cielo in 1993 to bring delicious food enjoyed with a more beautiful nightscape to even more people.
