September 28, 2017 YKK Wins the Highest Award at the JAPAN OEKO-TEX® AWARD 2017
On September 27, YKK Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroaki Otani) won the Grand Prix, the highest award, at the JAPAN OEKO-TEX®* AWARD 2017 ceremony. The award presentation was held for the first time at the OEKO-TEX® 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner hosted by Nissenken Quality Evaluation Center.
The Grand Prix was awarded for the following reasons:
- - The company's sincere manufacturing efforts and its attitude toward safety and security;
- - The company's broad range of OEKO-TEX® certified products (inclusive of its overseas plants);
- - The company's rollout of certified products not only in Japan but also to companies around the world, and its extremely high visibility and success as a business.
YKK will continue engaging in management and business activities that give due consideration to product safety and security as well as the environment.
