This zipper making machine was named part of Japan's "Mechanical Engineering Heritage" by the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers.

In the 1960s, mass production of high-quality zippers was made possible by a machine developed by YKK. That machine has been certified as part of Japan's "Mechanical Engineering Heritage."
