We established the YKK Group Environmental Charter in September, 1994. Group companies are united in our attempt effectively to address environmental issues. The goal of the Charter is to ensure health and prosperity for mankind while achieving harmony with the environment. We advocate protecting the environment at every phase of our operations.
The YKK Group Environmental Policy Committee has taken the lead in establishing our environmental management system. With an eye toward building economies based on re-use and recycling, we promote environmentally friendly measures in all our activities, from product design to manufacturing, use, disposal, collection, and recycling.
