The Research & Development Center works on metals, plastics, and other new materials research as well as developing technology for applications processes. R&D activities benefit the entire YKK Group. Recent developments include a nano-crystalline aluminum alloy, which offers high strength, high corrosion resistance, and excellent transcriptability. Current projects include development of effective eco-friendly recycling technologies and other next-generation core technologies through which we can help create completely new value.
